Featuring a more sleek and sort-of less traditional aesthetic, the Bunn NHS coffee machine is a great piece for both office spaces and homes. With a funnel feature that takes the coffee and drips it down into the coffee port, you can rest easy knowing that splatters of coffee won’t get anywhere. Even if coffee is really easy to wipe off countertops, it’s less work for us! Features of this coffeemaker include:
- 50 oz. batch
- Unique spray head ensures even, extraction of coffee flavor
- Remains on to keep the stainless steel hot water tank heated and ready
- Swivel lid to easy water pour-in
- Porcelain-coated warming plate with lighted on/off switch
Before becoming a coffee nut, I couldn’t tell you the first thing about it other than I knew it made people jittery and (possibly) have the “runs”. If you don’t know what a “batch” is, fear not, as it simply means the cup capacity the coffeemaker is capable of producing. In this instance, the Bunn NHS coffeemaker produces 10-cups, and not 12. If you’re the type that never makes more than a pot in the morning, this cup capacity may be what you’re looking for. A feature as such also brings a disadvantage: if there are 10 of you who avidly drink coffee in the office, you may want to find a 12-cup capacity coffeemaker or something larger, as you’ll be standing around more waiting for a new pot. However, the capacity doesn’t affect the performance and is made for at-home usage.
It has a unique spray head
The unique spray head allows you to receive the full amount of coffee, consistently and at the desired strength you want. Having bad coffee can put you in a “no coffee” spell for a while and little do most people know: the spray head is pivotal the product’s performance. While you may have done everything right, a coffeemaker with a bad spray head could mean the difference between fantastic coffee and liquid dirt. After using this model for a while, I could easily tell the difference between a quality spray head (like the one in the Bunn) and a “cheaper” (in quality) model that I got for less than $20. However, that doesn’t mean the price of the Bunn is intimidating, as it’s actually at a great price and yet another reason I would recommend to anyone in the market for a great coffeemaker.
Keeping it insulated and warm
Even though it may sound dangerous and scary (especially for the anxiety ridden), this coffeemaker was designed to remain on so that the hot water tank feature can stay heated and ready. The stainless steel that the coffeemaker is made from easily attracts the heat and keeps the inside insulated for the contents. For those on the go, this is a great feature that many others don’t have because they want to seem “safe” with their auto-off features.
Aesthetically designed coffee maker
Have you ever had a bad coffee machine that was poorly designed? If so, you don’t have a thing to worry about with the Bunn. Including a swivel lid for easy pour-in of water, you won’t get carpal tunnel from the everyday use of this product. Lastly, the porcelain coated warming plate has an easy on and off feature for manual use. Oh and did I mention that there’s NO assembly required? What better way to begin enjoying October than being able to plug in, pour-in and go?! After you put the necessary filters in the coffeemaker, you can fill the reservoir and plug it in. Then, continue your filling process and wait for the magic to happen!
Value for money drip coffee maker
Don’t be worried about making a ton of space for this model, either, as the measurements are pretty standard. Weighing in at 8 pounds and measuring 11.6 x 13.7 x 9.1 inches, the Bunn can take up a cute corner on your counter top.
The Bunn is actually a really fast model, too. A full 10-cup pot of coffee can be brewed in three minutes time – so even if you do bring this to a coffee loving office, you won’t be waiting long for a delicious morning beverage. Having tried many coffeemakers on the market today, I would have to say that this is the fastest drip machine that you can find and ever use at a consumer level. Also, if you ever need replacement carafes, they’re available in multiple retail stores around the country and for $15 or less!
Overall, for the price, the size, and the quality of the product made with this coffeemaker, the Bunn NHS Velocity is definitely worth the purchase. What are your waiting for? Buy with confidence now!
